Project Detail:

• Perform an IT assement of their current infrastructure, software and equipment.
• Create a IT strategy that includes Server Consolidation using Microsoft HyperV and direct purchase and upgrades to existing equipment and infrastructure.
• Migrate their Exchange Server, ACT Server, Blackberry Server and SQLServer-2005 machines to a Virtual Servers using Microsoft Windows Sever 2008R2 and Microsoft HyperV.
• Migrate users and other objects to a new Active Directory domain running on a Windows Server 2008-R2 domain controller
• Migrate users from Microsoft Exchange-2003 to Microsoft Exchange-2007
• Create a new Sharepoint-2007 intranet site for document storage and retreival and for workflow
• Migrate SQLServer-2000 and SQLServer-2005 databases to SQLServer-2008 and create SSIS packages for database maintenance and backup.
• Provide Technical Advisory, and Industry Knowledge/Trends to executives and investors to help evaluate potential investments and porfolio companies.
• Manage IT strategy, personnel to increase availability and reduce overall IT infrastructure costs.
• Create a disaster recovery plan and backup data processing center.
